Maybe, but gibbous is a much cooler word than crescent. Mmmm, waxing gibbous.

Some time back friend Brian and I somehow came up with the concept of the Gibby moon -- though if in fact Mr. Haynes of the Butthole Surfers' ass was hanging in the air up there, I wouldn't know what to think.

It'll soon be autumn again and the constellation Orion will shine brightly in the night sky, that always feels me with joy for the coming winter. The moon is very yellow at the moment, all that pollution. *sigh*

I liked the eclipse (last year or the year before that?) where everything turned black and white for a few minutes. Must be what it's like to be in The Strokes.
