Yeah, I'm expecting a lot of horror to show up. I guess Blair Witch is a great example of a movie where seemingly the forest itself acts against humans by somehow constantly shifting its geography and losing them amid the folds of the map.

The Robin Hood stuff is fairly out there for showing the woods as a place of refuge and safety, I guess Bambi is a little like that too. What else? Feels like in most cinema, the forest is a place where lions and tigers and other decidedly bad things lurk.

The recent trend of 3D movies tend to foreground the environment more for the sake of added visuals
I sometimes enjoy watching films made for 3D in 2D because you get these long extended shots made for the 3D version, makes the movie kind of weird
