Rules are generally the same as in previous years.
In this thread, post a list of 15 celebrities or other notable people. No e-mails this year.
I'm not going to be a total stickler about notability requirements, but please try to be reasonable. I'd rather not allow someone without, for instance, a Wikipedia entry. On a related note, if a Wikipedia search on one of your picks directs to a disambiguation page or to someone else with the same name, please indicate which one you mean by appending the person's profession in parentheses, e.g. "(actor)" or "(tennis player)."
As usual, points are awarded based on the formula (100 - [age at death]). So picking Quvenzhané Wallis (age 10) would get you a lot more points than picking Zsa Zsa Gabor (age 96), were both to die.
Please post your lists to this thread by January 10. No lists will be accepted after that date. If someone dies before Jan. 10, only the people who have already submitted lists will be able to collect points. You may also revise your list at any time before Jan. 10; after that, you'll be locked in.
There will eventually be a Google spreadsheet of picks and leaders. I will try to have it linked https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae5XwkSguNI"">here.

DDP hates dead pools and is busy trying to ruin any attempts at doing this list properly. Fucker has turned around the lives of Jake Roberts, Scott Hall and Justin Credible in the past year alone. (That he is able to do this is awe-inspiring obviously but it meant Sabu made my list and he'll live forever.)

whenuweremine is way in the lead with 188 points. Current runners up are myself and ailsa with the same picks scoring 70, then Elvis Telecom with 41. Let me know if I made any mistakes.

You get 4 points.
― alanbatman (abanana), Wednesday, 20 August 2014 21:54 (ten years ago)
I updated the chart. I took 50 points away from whenuweremine because Dokka Umarov actually died last year. This is possibly controversial since it wasn't known until March this year. Looking at other dead pools, I see they require the death to occur within the year, and that's the rule I'm going with. whenuweremine is still in the lead.
