Just saying like. I found a cheap hostel and I'm taking the coach up, so I'll get to look around the Back Bay area tonight, and then start my lovely walking tour tomorrow. Where should I start?

(I have my own ideas, i just wanna hear yours)

Do the Freedom Trail! Starts at Boston Common and hits pretty much all the major Revolutionary War sites in the Boston area, including the church Joei and I sing in (King's Chapel).

This Freedom Trail dealy better be good, since I'll likely walk part of it on Thursday. Mind you, I also might just sleep my lazy butt off.

I'm thinking I might walk around the parks, since they were designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, also partly responsible for NYC's Central Park. I also want to get some urban feel so I might also head down the Freedom Trail as well.

Cool things the Freedom Trail takes you through:

Boston Common (inc the memorial to the platoon featured in the movie "Glory" and, if you so desire, the Public Gardens)
Granary Burying Ground, where Sam Adams, John Hancock and many other Revolutionary War heroes are buried
King's Chapel
The Old South Meeting House
The old state house
Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market (where you can detour to the aquarium
Paul Revere's house in the North End (surrounded by cool Italian restaurants)
USS Constitution
The Bunker Hill monument in Charleston

A bit late for you today, but the Fogg museum used to be free 10 AM - noon on Saturdays! It's the Harvard Art museum; small but they've got some nice stuff. And hey, free!
