I'd love to be mad at Nebraska, but those 6 nominations for Dallas Buyers Club are making it really difficult.

Wolf a smidgen worse than both of those.

I'm second guessing myself on both that and Hustle, tbh.

I'll cast the only Nebraska vote. They'll award 12 Years a Slave, ILX will vote for Wolf of Wall Street.

I voted for 12 Years even though I've only seen 2 1/2 of the movies on the list.

I don't love any of these. Usually they can manage at least one.

Inclined to vote Gravity, even if I was kinda nonplussed by it. DBC most deserving of being shot into the sun. (Didn't see A Hustle or Philomena, hopefully never will.)

I loved 2, which is more than average. But I also didn't even really like any of the other 7, which is below average.

I did sort of like CP, against my wishes.

I know this thread is about personal preferences rather than betting odds but it's going to be 12 Years or Hustle, right?

Or Gravity. It's actually turned into a comparatively competitive three-way race.

In the sense that everyone assumes Cuaron's taking director and the film itself is going to sweep at least 6 of the tech categories.

If its a three-way race it's good that each movie is doing completely different things. It's almost apples and oranges. Whichever one wins will reveal which criteria won out.

the late date has never seemed more nuts. imagine, it used to be April.

Loved Gravity. Liked 12 Years. Enjoyed Wolf a lot, flawed and bloated as it is. Captain Philips was pretty average. Haven't seen the rest.

lol took me this long to even consider that Walter Mitty was shut out.

Her is the one I would guess has the most (only?) rewatch value.

yeah i've been debating going to see gravity again while it's getting its rerelease cuz that thing will be pointless to watch on tv

I've seen three of these movies twice. The third one was Philomena. :/
