Attlee did some stuff that has directly improved my life, so I have to vote for him.

Going for what is probably the corny choice: Rosa Luxemburg.

― emil.y, Sunday, 26 January 2014 15:07 (twelve years ago)

Clem A and Rosa L obvious ideological twins

― schlager top (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 26 January 2014 15:13 (twelve years ago)

why is rosa luxemburg the corny choice? she's my choice too.

― tɹi.ʃɪp (Treeship), Sunday, 26 January 2014 15:15 (twelve years ago)

Strange list. Rosa L definitely the best of these these naive do-gooders, traitorous sellouts, and bourgeois liberal capitalist lickspittles

― oppet, Sunday, 26 January 2014 15:33 (twelve years ago)

there are other good ppl on here. i almost voted bertrand russell because his "history of western philosophy" is secretly one of the funniest unreliable autobiographies of the 20th century

― tɹi.ʃɪp (Treeship), Sunday, 26 January 2014 15:34 (twelve years ago)

Worst on the list is obv Billy Bragg.

― oppet, Sunday, 26 January 2014 15:41 (twelve years ago)

just edging out Zulfikar Ali Bhutto

― Dolly Dilly Dally (soref), Sunday, 26 January 2014 15:49 (twelve years ago)

I'm sure he would agree

I was weighing that one up when Sexuality started playing in my head, which sealed the deal.

― oppet, Sunday, 26 January 2014 15:54 (twelve years ago)

sexuality was playing in a different head on Francois, amirite

― eclectic husbandry (Dr Morbius), Sunday, 26 January 2014 16:02 (twelve years ago)

i like rosa fine but voted mlk, the cornier choice

― i want to say one word to you, just one word:buzzfeed (difficult listening hour), Sunday, 26 January 2014 17:34 (twelve years ago)

a while back anne applebaum casually included allende in a list of 'murderous communist leaders' of the 20th century, which made me furious. fucking cold warrior twit.

― (The Other) J.D. (J.D.), Sunday, 26 January 2014 17:38 (twelve years ago)

objective best is either mandela or MLK, but might vote debs just for the hell of it. my gut-reaction 'worst' vote goes to zinn.
