Classic or Dud: Living in a noisy household

This, for me, is an obvious dud.

I've always preferred living in quiet places (save for street noise, etc., from living in the city). But I've lived in places where it was complete chaos, mostly due to noisy children and people who speak at a volume of eight and up.

But are there savages among us who are the cause of the noise? Defend yourselves, heathens!

my advice is to get familiar with simplynoise

That's an interesting recommendation.

Unfortunately, all I hear is white noise and it bothers me :(

I have headphones and IEMs, but I get 'ear fatigue'--specifically soreness--probably because I listen to music at work, as well.

Mind you, I'm not trying to find a solution, because I know what it is (leaving the noisy household!) and it's coming closer to the end of the year!

For now, we can share our thoughts on this!
