Oh, definitely, I was just being dramatic and tragic. Honestly, 99.9% of things I do I don't regret, and that includes kissing. The only time I can remember actually regretting it (in an entire sense, as in I regret doing ANYTHING with them, not just like you have a kiss at a wrong time or you do something stupid but overall you don't regret the relationship) was because it was a friend of mine and it seemed it'd fuck up the relationship that I was meaningless-boredom kissing and I guess he actually meant it. But otherwise, no regrets. I just like to be tragic.

Have you ever tried working your way through the alphabet using the first letters of the names of your snoggees? I have a friend who is up to T (or was last time we went through them all) but I can only get as far as D before I come unstuck. I have never found myself an Edward, Ethelbert or Ely. Oh, and before you ask, snoggees whose names you never found out *can* be used as blanks, like in Scrabble. I don't have any blanks either. Grrr!

If you do not know the name of the person can you make it up to fit a letter you definitely don't have? When I was 17 I got off with a bloke in Ritzy's (ahem) and - for shame - didn't ask his name before, during or after and then my mate (who had got off with his mate, as you do) told me he was called Colin, which I then got teased about for the rest of my school days. I do not believe this was his real name. Sorry to anyone called Colin, by the way.

What I mean personally by "meant it" was that it wasn't just a random "hey there!" moment, but something that had both an air of anticipation to it and an enhanced emotional/brain-chemical reaction. As opposed to being wasted and dancing with someone you don't know and suddenly dancing the tongue tango. (Note, this has only happened to me twice. That I can remember.)

My number would be maybe 30-50, but I'm not actually that experienced, it's just that in my social circles kissing with friends or even strangers isn't that unusual. So I'll brake the number down for you:

People I've kissed with no particular intentions, just for fun: 20-40.

People I've kissed while having sex or with the intention or having sex (even if it didn't happen), but nothing more: maybe 10.

People I've kissed with romantic intentions, i.e. "more than sex": maybe 5.
