Your use of 'cookie clicker' diminishes this as a piece of art that tries to express the author's worldview or thoughts in a different way.

Yes, it is simple, but there is more complexity to it if you look further.

I liked it, but I'm not sure it stands that well as art rather than a simple-but-expressive game. It's not particularly Cookie Clicker like, mind, maybe more A Dark Room, but its incrementalism doesn't extend into hours like those games, it makes its case and absents itself.
