The only one I have seen of these is The Birds. I don't see it as a Vengeful-Acts-of-a-Wrathful-God Movies. I just see it as a way of making Tippi Hedren get all pecked.

ghostbusters kinda fits the bill, if you listen to Egon & Ray's theories.

We-ell Ghostbusters is a Vengeful-Acts-Of-A-Wrathful-God-Of-Many Possible-Gods-Out-There movie but okay - I'll buy that for a dollar.
None of the films you mention Joe strike me as that kind of thing - these are all "when animals attack" movies. The fact that -say - in the Birds we don't know the motivation for the attack is not to say there isn't one. Kingdom Of The Spiders is all about the spiders being pissed off that pesticides have killed all their food. Phase IV is "antz get smart". God ain't involved.
Oh God! You Devil! with George Burns is definately a wrathful act though.
Intolerance on the other hand seems to fit your bill in the Gomorrah scenes.

I thought that wasn't until Marnie.

Frogs = People stranded on some swampy island plantation with all sorts of wild animals, the frogs become intelligent and lead the animals (gators, poisonous snakes, spiders, etc.) in attacking and killing the humans.
Kingdom of the Spiders = Spider movie with William Shatner.
Squirm = Really nasty one with electrified, screaming worms. REALLY nasty.
Phase IV = Probably the lone semi-respectable one here, enigmatic ants movie, the only movie ever directed by Saul Bass.
Are there any good ones with bees out there? Was Food of the Gods bees or wasps?
p.s. "Vengeful Acts of a Wrathful God" is the name of the section for these kinds of movies at Scarecrow Video in Seattle, I stole it from them... :)
