The opening scene of RHPS

ah right. I think the opening scene in Das Boot is somewhere else too (they stay on the boat until the last scene, when they get off and it sinks so I thought I could let that one slip by)

there are a lot of post-Saw horror chamber pieces now with one-word titles like vacancy, buried, exam, frozen, devil, triangle, etc et

do movies set entirely on one spaceship like event horizon and sunshine count?

Jeanne Dielman has several locations (the bar, post office, grocery store...)

oh ok i turned it into all-apartment in my head over the years

My Dinner With Andre has opening and closing scenes outside the restaurant, with Shawn going to and from it.

There's a bunch that would qualify if you discounted opening scenes/sequences. Dawn of The Dead for example.

The original Sleuth has an exterior shot in the beginning, after that all of it takes place in one house. Ditto for the remake.

Buried is not really a horror movie, is it? But it's gotta be the most extreme example of these, since the whole movie is set in a buried coffin.

Tuomas, Saturday, 14 June 2014 09:30 (ten years ago) link

Got excited by a mention of a clue remake and then noticed you wrote sleuth not clue.

On that note, clue? I think it's all one location, tho lots of sets I guess.
