I def. second "Eulogy and Light" (super-creepy) and "When the Levee Breaks," along with "A Day in the Life..." (but, really, who doesn't second that one?)

"L.A. Blues is great, tho apparently it lacks compared to the live version.

"You Set the Scene" is great. I also like "And More" from Love's first album, for personal reasons.

Surprised "Bike" hasn't gotten any love yet.

Ditto for "Ambulance Blues." Also, "Last Dance" (from Time Fades Away) is pretty damn cool: CSN has never sounded so raw & ragged, perhaps bcz Neil insists on pummelling them with the riff. Great freaky rock moment.

It hasn't been mentioned (I don't think) but no list fultimate classic-rock album closers is complete without "Ramble Tamble."

I believe the original Mirror Man album ends with "Kandy Korn," which is an awesome song. (For that matter, "Apes-Ma" wraps up Shiny Beast on an impossibly poignant note.)

"Brick is Red" "Havalina" "She Brings The Rain" "Adventures Close to Home": none of these would belong on a list of greatest album closers ever, but all are v. good, so shout-outs to them all.

"Sweet Shine" and "Bouncing Round the Room" are even better. Verging on transcendence, particularly "Bouncing" which is the greatest song that Paul Simon never wrote.

And nothing against "You're Not an Airplane"--it does the job--but "Peep-hole would've made a fantastic closer for Bee Thousand. it has to be one of the loveliest songs to ever clock in under a minute.

Speaking of GbV, the one-two punch of "Mute Superstar" and "Bomb in the Beehive" that closes Mag Earwig! is one of my favorite endings to an album ever. If I have to pick a single song...maybe "Jimmy Tomorrow" from the Waitresses' debut? "Complicated Game" is a pretty strong contender too.
