Yeah... that track! I can't take credit for discovering it as it was someone on the disco-reggae thread who suggested it, but good god it's a great, unrelenting tune. I'm gonna take part two of the mix off and put the first part back on soon, so anyone who still wants to download part two better do so now.

Looking forward to hearing those reggae/disco ones. I don't see the reggae in some of the tracks, but I'm sure context will reveal all. Second the Steel an Skin love.

Here's another one. I was meant to be doing the music at a sci-fi themed party, but couldn't in the end, so thought I'd make a mix out of the tracks I'd sorted out. I did it in Ableton, entirely "in the box", and there are a few weird audio artefacts from stretching stuff too far. Anyway, I think it came out OK.

re: reggae disco - I'm thinkign of doing a "skimmed" ("skinned"?) version with some of the more tenuous tracks taken out - not sure why I stuck in Me No Pop I, despite it being a great track, it's neither disco nor reggae, and I think it was shoved in there for transition purposes.

Listening to the first disco reggae mix. Pretty great. Really feeling the transition between Jackson Jones - Put Your Pants On and Laid Back – Fly Away. It was unexpected and worked really well.

This is a 43 minute, 7 track mix I threw together yesterday (the title is a *slightly misremembered* lyric from one of the tracks). Not the best thing I've ever done, but not bad nonetheless.
