Saw them once, don't remember a thing about it, they were overshadowed by support band Dead Moon anyway. The end.

eleven years pass...
"Dicks Hate (The) Police" obvs unfuckwithable but I had/have a harder time reconciling with SDH's legacy, who were so hit/miss and forgotten even here in their hometown.
Gary wrote a seldom-heard song about a city I lived in for a spell, and several lines haunt me to this day:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3vzEuVhnHM
a warm breeze blows across the white sand
ten thousand ships and planes make up the heart of it
north island's just a part of it
a hundred tons of hair on a barber's floor
and tomorrow there’s a hundred more
and how did i know
i'd be going down to san diego
a mom, dad, kids run across the freeway
they had a dream that they could be a part of it
so they ran from the snake pit
headed straight for the bullshit
but how did they know
they’d be going north to san diego
pretty people in a row i wonder did they know about the counting machine
little houses in a line from pentecost down down to beaver lake drive
they're in the counting machine
count me count me count me
hot sand cuts into my face
a little bar under the freeway
where i can drink my blues away
come on and give me another beer
i’m thinking of staying here
but how did i know
oh lord how did i know id be staying here in san diego
