Our music is easy to listen to, nothing complicated, just great, positive tunes, obviously influenced by core bands like the Beatles, Oasis, and the Stone Roses. But for me personally, we are all about the songs.

On April 9th the band released their double A-side ‘Pravda Scrolls”/ ‘Cynical Brother’ through their own Dirty Love label, songs which have achieved the descriptions ‘anthem’ and ‘epic’ respectively.

Yea I think they represent us the best as a band, you know a bit attitude, definite ballsiness and that’s exactly what we are about.

this reminds me of an email to the channel 4 teletext music pages circa 2001 in which someone complained about LADS pouring a plastic cup of piss on them at an oasis show, the way their audience comprised an awkward mixture of LADS and provincial ~indie~ dorks with extensive collections of SFA albums

so i look at these and try to imagine whether they would be pouring the piss or having pissed poured on them, except that i suspect the dialectic resolved itself somehow

I need to stop getting mad about these paintings, but it is genuinely fucking infuriating.

if these paintings were exhibited with a load of Royal Academy summer show dross, it wouldn't even stand out.

the only distinctive thing about them is that the images are 90's celeb ephemera, I mean ffs who fucking cares about this shite!

I do find it tragic the nostalgic fondness for some of these people, but I don't like the music so I guess it's a mystery to me in general.

It doesn’t even look like the Gallagher Brothers instead on the left George Harrison on the right Tracy Thorne of everything but the girl.

I went to a pub in Essex last week that had loads of this stuff on the walls: Oasis posters and pictures of the Brothers Gallagher, multi-colour pictures of Keith Flint, Elton John photos, the works. Luckily the food was pretty good!

moving beyond just swaggerbands, the new frontier is swaggerbars. the Stone Roses Bar in Leeds has been open for over a decade and is still going strong.
