Firstly, I think Toxic and Love Story and the Ashanti one I could've identified on my own if I'd listened to them a few seconds more. But also, I'm just not that clued into commercial pop (and less, indie pop) - perhaps due to age (mid 40s) and having a more distant relationship to the whole business.
However, if anyone in my age bracket challenged me a contest of identifying recent chart hits I could probably take them.
