if she releases something at the end of this year (not impossible) or early next it'd still just be the normal ~3 year album cycle. the main reason it feels like longer is because she did promise new music earlier but that obviously fell through

I just think it’s weird to criticize her for “inviting the male gaze.” She would anyway as a young woman, first of all, even if she explicitly tried not to; secondly, it doesn’t seem like she is invoking any problematic/sexist tropes in this image.
