The information that we get about all these feuds are always so fragmentary. It’s impossible to figure out what actually happened.

Like what is the “disgusting situation” Poppy drew her into?

And what does it have to do with Grimes allegedly abusing NDA’s to deny credits to Poppy’s creative partners? Why would Grimes even do that for a track that was collaborative? Every single thing with Grimes is like this. Never clear.

And who was the “team of self proclaimed feminists”? Like a feminsit lawyer squad that Grimes has that behind the scenes try to discredit female artists? I didn’t know Grimes had one of these. And why doesn’t Poppy herself mention the artists she wanted to get credited?

People are going to take sides but no one even knows what the point of disagreement is.

every musician has drama, and tbh no one really knows what’s up (like did Sinatra kill JFK over a mob beef, maybe sure but who knows) and a lot of this Grimes drama has been at least publicly initiated by others.

I just think a lot of discourse circles around a void of unknowability.

It wasn't lip synced but the live vocals are mostly buried under layers of prerecorded stuff and even the live guitar is super-low in the mix. Makes the performance toothless and boring. Whoever said this sounded like Reznor was otm. This would fit in well on the Fragile and I say that as a good thing.
