so we were discussing dj practice / dj planning on this thread and i came out strongly against too much planning and later i posted an unplanned / unpracticed mix on this thread

but i'm a big hypocrite, i like to rework things a bunch of times, which i ended up doing, cut out the bullshit, figured out all of the transitions, etc. so here's i guess an example of a kind of aggressive / obnoxious mixing you can't do without planning unless you just have a stack of prematched dj tools (like say jeff mills) or you really know your records and you're totally going for it. i think it sounds a bit canned / uptight but it gets more so every time i try again so i'm posting to get it out of my system:
