I haven't checked this thread in a few months so I feel slightly embarrassed about posting my own mix here but if you fancy hearing my mix around This Mortal Coil's Filigree and Shadow then please do listen. It just takes F&S as a launching pad for related things. F&S was my most listened to record in 1986 and my most listened to in 2020. I found it the perfect lockdown music, so I was thinking about it a lot and about how much it informed my listening life from the mid-80s onwards. Boxedjoy said some lovely things to me about it, which actually gave me a different perspective on the mix. I hope you enjoy it.

Late last night I stumbled on something I thought I'd lost to time. In 2010 I set out to make a CD-length mix-of-the-decade, smashing together as many tracks as I could fit into seven minutes from each year of the 2000s.

I only got up to 2003, but listening back last night, the results are hilarious, ridiculous and sublime. So here's the only mix you'll hear today featuring Wu Tang, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Shaggy, Nightwish and er... Bomfunk MCs.
