This morning my ADHD ear worms have decided it’s perfectly normal to loop the old Club Biscuit advert song combined with SFA ‘Rings Around The World’

I was listening to my 80s playlist and Kiss’ deeply cheesy “Forever” morphed into Heart’s “What About Love?” (In my head not in the playlist bc I had it on shuffle)
I was curious if they had the same songwriter and learned the Heart song is a cover!! News to me.

I didn't know that either. mostly cos their hits were largely being written by professional songwriters then and it sounds so much like those songs I didn't realize a band wrote it. interesting!

(I have a soft spot for those Heart ballads, as generic as they were, mostly cos Ann Wilson could make any material sound good)

My band started jamming on Men Without Hats’ “Pop Goes the World” tonight and I couldn’t remember any of the lyrics so I subbed in the verses from Jim Carroll’s “People Who Died.” It worked pretty well, actually.
