Milo speaks truth, and said it better than what I have ham-handedly tried to say. Decoration is cool, even if it isn't how one normally navigates. Merely wanted to say that I normally can't see the front of an instrument that I am playing.

Might be the best looking Eastman electric to date. Until now their slightly cheesy look has been the sore spot for me about the otherwise incredible value of their guitars.

The Guild D-55 is just the love of my life right now, it was so worth it. I play it more than the Martin.

It's an interesting instrument to learn - I say learn because it really has this crazy amount of sustain and volume and just sings when you touch it, to the point that it's actually really hard to hide mistakes and you have to control it differently than with other guitars I've played. There are certain notes where you can hit them and immediately mute them and you still hear them ringing in the guitar like the string is open, I've never heard anything like it before.

Wow, that amazing instrument clearly found the right person to perform with! The “singing” quality sounds like you’re doubling with a Nashville tuning at times. I love a happy ending, what a gem.

Nashville tuning/doubling is a great way to describe it, it feels like there's this "voice" coming out of the guitar that sings along with what I pick.

I can confirm that oxblood TvL's are 100% f-yeah and whatever sacrifices may come.

Midnight Wine and Aubergine are a couple of other similar Fender ox-blood colors that look good to me.

The lack of a bridge pickup does it wonders aesthetically

It’s both more than I want to spend and about $500 below market, with a nice case.

They have reissued the 52 P-bass but never that model with the humbucker. I got to say after getting into Gibson basses, humbucker pickups are a bit under-rated on a bass. I'm guessing those might have some of the odd magnets like the other 70s Seth Lover style pickups Fender did.

Trower signature Strat is available in Midnight Wine. I'd like it more with a black pick guard. I think of building another parts strat that is the color I might use and then book match the headstock.

If I ever get another bass aside from my Squier VI, the Reverend Wattplower II is top of the list.
