Love the way that whichever poor label intern had to come up with this shite couldn't be arsed to fix the piss-poor grammar the band had supplied for the track by track rundown.

Do labels even need interns anymore? Cause their blurb reads exactly like something ChatGPT would spit out

Vinnie, Thursday, 6 July 2023 00:44 (two years ago)

so the singer from Hurricane #1 is an actual nazi. i remember the name, but couldn't remember what song they did so i googled. oh yeahhh, they didn't have a hit song, they were a momentary blip on the radar because the guitarist from Ride was involved. they disappeared fast because even the most ardent Ride stans lost interest the instant they heard a note of the music. they must be bored, hardly think any fans were clamoring for a reunion. god, did they ever suck.

The nu-H#1 are essentially every other band on this thread but with the minuscule advantage of technically having been in the charts about twice

Colchester rock band Koopa have made chart history by becoming the first unsigned act to enter the UK Top 40; Their new single Blag, Steal & Borrow debuted at number 31. How have they managed it? Through downloads. (2007)

Tyler Perry's Cystitis (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 16 November 2023 11:23 (one year ago)

They want to be Blink 182 but at heart they are a mix between The Stone Roses and Primal Scream with the swagger of Oasis is how i see it

the world is your octopus (Camaraderie at Arms Length), Thursday, 16 November 2023 11:26 (one year ago)

lol this is the end of their wikipedia entry

2010: Koopa return
After spending time away, the band have announced they will be making a return in late 2010, having had a very deliberate six months or so "out of the loop", and after working and touring solidly for eight years. Joe Murphy said: "We've been out of the loop by choice. When you gig for so long, it gets a bit samey, so we took a bit of a break after the last few tours."[citation needed]

The band announced that their break was taken to develop a slightly new sound and new songs.

this is the most 2000s looking band I've ever seen, like a fictional band in a tv show set in in 2004 that they add as a period detail to remind that it's 2004

We need Noel and Ian Brown to form a revenge supergroup now. Perhaps Boaby could play tambourine in both?

The only time I saw P Scream live, c.1986, they had a dedicated tambourine player, who wore black leather gloves. Bobby a stickler for the health and safety of his bandmates back then.

man the credits on liam's last album are bizarre. why does danny l harle have a production credit on some awful reggae rock track? why does ezra koenig play on a bunch of tracks & have a writing/production credit on one (not that you can tell)

It's when you have plenty of money to throw around for your vanity solo project, is my guess.

I discovered the Ezra thing thanks to your post and after listening to the track you really can tell it’s Ezra !
I do wonder how come they got to work together though… I can’t imagine them hanging out or share any musical interest…

Now, if only Bobby Gillespie would have joined that new group with Liam Gallagher and John Squire, then this truly would have been a damningly prescient thread.
