Taking Sides: Bill Frisell - 'Guitar in the Space Age' vs 'Go West' Concerts

Frisell is playing two gigs here next week:

Realistically, I can probably only make it to one. I'm wondering if anyone has seen either of these sets this year and might have insights into what they're like, what their strengths are, whether you liked one of them better, whatever thoughts you might have.

Points in favour of 'Space Age': it's indoors in a space with great acoustics, which might make a big difference with Frisell; it will end at a reasonable time; this stuff sounds pretty (if on the 'safe' side of Frisell): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AI322E_YPQ

Points in favour of 'Go West': the Go West album is cool; it seems like this might be a much more surprising and adventurous set musically; the idea of seeing the music with the silent film is pretty interesting; it's less expensive.

i'm hitting up Guitar in the Space Age in mpls, I think Bill Frissel doing Ventures-style surf guitar just sounds right to me
