bootleg suggestions

I need help quick! I'm doing a gig on the 2nd and rather than play the usual Autofire shit, I was thinking of doing a long bootleg-style mix (similar to the 2manyDJs thingy) and play it in ACID pro. I'm currently scrabbling through my music collection trying to find loops and samples that I want to put in my set. The concept will be that I'm going to play bits from every style of music I'm into - from Power Metal to Dub to IDM to Hiphop etc... The gig is a low-key affair done by me and some mates so it's just having a laugh - I want to inject quite a bit of humour into the set, as well as making it groovy and interesting.

Any suggestions of tracks that actually DO go together (disparate genres especially, but anything will do)?

If I were into this sort of thing, I'd have a go at replacing the titular word in the Muppets song that went "mna mna - doo doo d'do doo" with the word 'eminem', so it would go "eminem - doo doo d'do doo", etc. I think it would be very funny.

This doesn't help with much of anyone's set, of course...

"Teenage Kicks" (music) vs "It's Not Right But It's OK" (words). It works in my head at least and I lack the technical know-how to do it myself.

From my aborted bootleg attempts of a) songs that do mesh and b) songs you can get the acapella's from easily:

"Izzo" Jay Z vs "Nancy Boy" Placebo
"Fill Me In" Craig David vs "Whip It" Devo
"If You Ever Fall In Love" 0-Town vs "Ladykiller" Lush
"However Do You Want Me?" Soul II Soul vs "The Model" Kraftwerk

Honour the fire.

I've long been convinced that Blur's "Trimm Trabb" would mesh nicely (somehow) with DJ Shadow's "Midnight In A Perfect World". Never quite managed it myself, but...

st etienne "he's on the phone" goes well with a speeded up "falling" by juleee cruise. (or i might have dreamed that). plus i never get tired of the billy jean/don't stop movin (s club) thing. and i've always wanted to here the private psychedelic reel go into the queen is dead.

Cheers peepow! Dammit if only my own computer was online, then I'd be able to actually get some of these tunes, but as it happens I'm screwed cos I have to use me pop's puter for surfing. Retarded! Still some nice suggestions, which I will print out and keep for later reference. Oh - and if anyone's in North Herts next Saturday, be sure to come by Hitchin Footie Club and see me fail at this shit.
