Caught part of their set at Austin Psych Fest. Solid but unspectacular. The record is way better.

yeah, it's all about the production for me. plus, i don't get out much.

Yeah, the record sounds so good. Well recorded, well mixed, so damn lively.

Trouble in Mind put out this and the Doug Tuttle record this year, satisfying my trad-psych itch for now

check out the Tuttle if you haven't....i like it a bit better than Delt, and i love Delt

Unfamiliar with the Tuttle. Will check it out ASAP.

whole album is streaming here:

he is ex-Mmoss

production on Delt's album is great, but Tuttle is just a bit more poppy, which is more up my alley. no surprise that Delt's got/is getting plenty of attention, tho

Trouble in Mind forever

doodle cock-up (electricsound), Monday, 4 August 2014 01:30 (ten years ago)

damn this would have been so much cheaper from the label...oh well. i'm dumb. it was an impulse buy. i didn't do my research. all their records are 12 bucks on their site! that's cheap. plus shipping, but still...

Nice so to see love for this album, placed this in our (radioshow)selection of 15 best albums of 2014 so far. Seconded on Doodle's post - esp Klaus Johann Grobe and Greg Ashley

i was a bit disappoint with the krakatau album though, particularly sad as they are local kids

DonkeyTeeth, Thursday, 7 August 2014 06:11 (ten years ago)

don't sleep on the 31Ø8 album either, though it's a bit more electronic than the standard TiM fare

doodle cock-up (electricsound), Thursday, 7 August 2014 06:32 (ten years ago)
