The Country Cavaleers: Country's Original Outlaws

I wrote a long piece in the Aug.-Sept. 2014 issue of Perfect Sound Forever about the Country Cavaleers, the '70s country duo composed of Buddy Good and James Marvell. This is the first piece ever written in depth about the Cavaleers, who recorded in Nashville from 1972 thru the end of the decade. Anyone else ever heard of these guys? They were long-haired, anti-drug, pro-Jesus, and their music had its roots not in country, but in the British-American Beatles/Stones-influenced garage-rock of the '60s.
