Yawning Man

I'm not convinced I'm using the search function correctly on here but could not find a thread on these.

I do not know much about this band (wholly instrumental?), apart from their origins around Palm Springs, Ca circa '86.

We're not talking post rock time changes here though. It's fairly consistent rhythm

If ever a band was wholly a result of their environs, here's the proof.

If you're interested and haven't heard, I would urge you to search for the tracks 'Rock Formations' and 'Perpetual Oyster'

These pieces would even improve the greatest Meat Puppets outings

my below-average local record store has had "Nomadic Pursuits" on sale for $9 in its half-price bin for like three years. i eyeball it regularly, but never pull the trigger.

I got 'Rock Formations' from my sometimes frustrating/thinking about cancelling, internets provider(e music)
