really scandalous that nearly half of these aren't very good considering what her singles discography could've been at this stage

"Promise" and "1, 2 Step" tower over everything else for me but I always really liked the run of non-hits from "Speechless" to "Got Me Good." i actually voted for "Gimmie Dat" in Pazz & Jop lol.

those non-hits are amazing and so underrated, especially "speechless"

yesterday i listened to "promise" for the first time in maybe a year and yep, still the best R&B song ever
