I am curious myself. I see that the author Brenda Gottschild is a professor at Temple but she was also a dancer herself. One blurb re the book focusses on that it features interviews with dance choreographers like Fernando Bujones, Brenda Bufalino, Trisha Brown, Garth Fagan, Rennie Harris, Bill T. Jones, Ralph Lemon, Susanne Linke, Meredith Monk. I am wondering if she also interviews folks re street dance and musicians who dance. Separately in google I saw that she wrote a paper about James Brown's dancing.

Maybe worth seeing if a public library has it.
