But Trina has a more wired personality than Trick Holiday - maybe she's the female Ludacris? - and she has better production too: lots of fantastic eastern influenced grooves, heaps of variety and very little of the indentikit bounce-funk that you'd expect from Slip'n'Slide. Heaps of this is surprisingly slinky and sexy: "Rewind That Back" is shimmering indian-funk with an amazing appearance from Missy; "B R Right" careens back and forth on hypnotic gypsy strings; Ü & Me" is lush, winsome Roc-A-Fellá-style nu-soul; "No Panties" is busted dirty funk; and maybe best of all is the insane - and insanely percussive - banghra-bounce of "How We Do?"
What I love most though is the awesome tension generated between the sophisticate production and Trina's none-more-simple, one-step-up-from-Khia spittin': she's the ultimate wolf-in-sheep's clothing.
So, what does everything else think?

I have Thug Holiday but haven't listened to it much - very little struck out at me on first listen like "Take It 2 Da House" or "Remember Me" or "Nann Nigga". I should spend more time with it.

But what I really wanna know is what y'all think about the Tate piece on her and eve in the village voice here. Her flow really takes it away the dirtier her lyrics get -- like she sounds really enthusiastic about it. "Nasty Bitch" and "Get This Money" are the tops here.
