"Good Times" is one of my all-time faves

This was hated? I really loved this album from the first time I heard it. I'll have to consider which song is the best.

His worst "pop" album, but yeah "Good Times" is the only thing that I remember from this. Chilling in the context of Love Liza, esp now that PSH has passed.

This record is amazing. Could be any of the three B-side songs for me.

Love this record, never understood why it never got the love of it's predecessor.

Last two songs are the best but voted "Get A Room" cuz it's the sleeper jam on a sleeper album.

I don't know what Wilco sounds like but I imagine this is what it sounds like. I haven't listened to this record since the day I first put it on and scowled.

Therefore, I Am is one of my favourite songs ever. Love this album, surprised it had a negative reaction.

Maybe it's good? I love Bad Timing + Threeway + Eureka so much. I just remember thinking "wow, Jim's songwriting and crisp production style really don't gel with overdriven guitars". I listened at my kitchen job and the rest of the staff, used to me playing Camofleur every day, was all "ugh" in agreement

I don't get how you can love eureka and not like this, these two albums blend together for me and I don't even remember which song is on which

I maybe - maybe! - could offer some sympathy to you for not liking Insignificance. O'Rourke isn't everybody's cup of tea, I get that. But it turns out you *love* Bad Timing and Threeway and Eureka! But not Insignificance?! Wow. Mind = so blown.

For the love of god please skip #3 and give it another spin Owen, feel like you are being a bit too harsh on Insignificance here.

love this record

there have been times where i've thrown it on and been put off by the dare of how it starts, eureka comes on a lot more classy and likeable

but the more time passes, and the more i'm able to see it as a self-contained thing and not as one side of an argument, the more i appreciate it

the older i get, the less hung up i am on what i wanted his catalog to be, and the more i can appreciate the nuances of what it already is

has anybody seen GREASER'S PALACE? per the interview above, the end of "Life Goes Off" is based on the ending of that movie

Therefore I Am is my jam on this, love the post-AC/DC sound and the way the two drummers alternate between unison and syncopation
