Recoil / Alan Wilder's works outside of Depeche Mode - Classic or Dud? Search and Destroy?

Given the amount of Depeche Mode related threads on ILM I'm quite surprised to find that Alan Wilder's side project that eventually became a main project, Recoil, doesn't have its own thread. I'm listening to Liquid right now, and although I'm definitely no stranger to this record, it's suddenly hit me how magnificent this record is. It has a tension and atmosphere to it that I find lacking in a lot of what Depeche have done without him, to be honest.

Any other supporters of Recoil on here?

I loved Bloodline but haven't revisited it or any of his other material in years...

five years pass...

Never gave his stuff a chance but maybe I should. Surprised there isn’t more discussion here.

Bought Bloodline back in the day due to Toni Halliday (Curve) singing on two tracks, and remember liking it, though sold it later. Will have to give those tracks a YouTube listen.

And as I've said forever, the fact that another track has Alan Wilder sampling Bukka White throughout is CLEARLY where Moby went 'Oh wait!' towards the end of the 90s.

Yep. That’s always been quite a shameful and infuriating rip off.
