itt post yr favorite instrumental mixes of songs

A lot of 80s dance singles have "dub" versions as the B side, typically they're closer to just being an instrumental version than a true dub remix. Here's a couple more favourites:

As far as 80s dance singles go, aren't "instrumental versions" usually just identical to the "vocal versions" minus vocals, whereas "dub" versions tend to have different structures and more variety in the placement of musical elements? Might just be some bullshit I just made up in my head..

Imagination did a whole album of "dub" versions of their songs (Night Dubbing that is great.

1982 Martin Rushent instrumental mix of two songs from Pinky Blue. Although the versions with lyrics are the most classic, this is pretty smart.

not 100% instrumental but still a fuckin jam and a half and SERIOUSLY sounds like something a John Hughes film would be scored with, like an opening montage of different students running to class or something
