I'm late to stumble across this dude but I fell in love with Jean Tonique's mixes of "Jumpin' Jumpin'" and Raphael Saadiq's "Get Involved":

I tried searching for him in past threads but nothing popped up, which surprised me. Does anyone else know him?
Where would this stuff even fall genre-wise? And who else is making shit that sounds like this?
