another fact about t.i., in addition to the things listed here, is that he has talked two people out of committing suicide. one of these people was creed singer scott stapp, and another one was a guy standing on a building threatening to jump. tip heard about this on the radio and drove to the scene and the police let him talk the guy down

Yeah I once used this whole chorus and this phrase in particular to try to illustrate "how rap works" to a clueless-but-curious coworker. Once we pulled the whole thing apart and looked at all the consonance, assonance, alliteration, wordplay, etc., he was actually suitably impressed. Didn't make him a rap stan, but it made him appreciate the complexities a little.
