Rave crowds on records

I actually need some extended samples of 'rave' cheering for a mix I'm making -- the kind you hear on circa 1992 rave records. I tried to use cheering from some random live albums but it wasn't the same as that ferocious, whistles and airhorns rave crowd that was such a part of that aesthetic.

If anyone could tell me where I could find some field recordings/samples like this, or a good stretch of unadulterated crowd noise on a record, I would be very grateful. In the meantime, so this thread isn't all about me, this thread can also be a list of rave songs with canned crowds, such as:

Messiah - There Is No Law
Utah Saints - Something Good
Isotonik - Different Strokes
KLF - 3AM Eternal
Pet Shop Boys - Music For Boys
George Michael - Killer (Real crowd)

That video is amazing, the bit at 33mins when they sing happy birthday to a three year old girl is insane.

was it the Doors live that KLF sampled for their crowd noises?

AWOL live at the Ministry Of Sound is a good one, although not sure how much unadulterated crowd stretches it has.

oh, and possibly not enough of a long stretch of what you are looking for but here's a recording in made in 1990 of the intro when the ragga twins played my night. lots of airhorns and whistles. off tape so fairly lo fi.

Thanks everyone. Good to know about U2. I think you would need a band of that level of popularity to get a crowd as roaring as those on KLF records.

I always assumed, because of the whistles and airhorns, that they were sampling sporting events.

nine months pass...

Man, I'm still hitting a wall on this. I listened to the U2 and Doors live albums and there just isn't enough isolated crowd noise for what I'm trying to do.

Can any of you think of a big arena rock recording that has a lot of extended crowd cheering? I tried AC/DC, Queen, they're all cropped or faded at the ends.

You know what, if you search in either p2p or itunes for 'crowd encore', you'll get a ton live album tracks, just of crowds cheering for over a minute. I think this is going to do the trick.
