Has anybody heard this? I really like it. Very catchy.

title track sounds exactly like Veruca Salt, down to the vocal harmonies and everything

good record, particular fav is probably 'pay attention'

Sometimes she sounds more like Liz Phair to me than Veruca Salt, but it's definitely a tribute to a particular time.

The songs are real good. Deeper Than Love is a favorite of mine right now.

It's one of my favourite albums of the year so far and I think the best album about turning 30 since Stories from the city, stories from the sea. Love the juxtaposition of the cheery/depressing Things That Are Bad For Me vols 1 and 2, love the emotional brutality of Deeper Than Love. And the video for TV is hilarious and has lots of cool people in it (members of Girlpool, Tacocat).

I keep coming back to this record, and I like it more each listen. Every song has a huge hook. I doubt there will be a better rock record this year.

Then those turkeys need to get some new ears, because Colleen Green means business.

"Deeper Than Love" is fantastic.

this is unexpectedly probably top five of the year

a self-reinforcing downward spiral of male-centric indie (katherine), Saturday, 24 October 2015 05:38 (nine years ago)

I listened to this a whole bunch for, like, five days and then not once since. Should revisit.

Yeah I really like it.

release pressure playing bruno mars on the piano (cajunsunday), Saturday, 24 October 2015 09:23 (nine years ago)

So great. Love how it slowly reveals its title as sort of a misnomer, i.e. the person who can write songs like "Wild One" and "Whatever I Want" is the true grown-up.

TV is my favourite song of the year. and the vinyl was coloured like a tutti frutti jelly belly (the world's most delicious confection)! LITERALLY no one would let me review it, though.

please don't shampoo your eyes (stevie), Monday, 26 October 2015 08:46 (nine years ago)

It's a tremendous record, certainly one of the best rock records of the year.
