it's weird there's this band from Mpls named Howler, and I guess the frontman is the son of the ex-VP of our old parent company and the Howler dude is dating Marr's daughter and basically lives with them now

such an anglophile that he even loves marr's mite

every interview with Marr I've read has been really boring, but I feel like he's make a nice father in law. I wonder if him and Jordan from Howler 'jam' together at home

Phil Oakey's coat there is making me want to start a thread specifically about the sartorial choices of early 80s electro pop +new romantic ppl as they went through the 90s, 00s and beyond, the ones who started dressing down, the ones who experimented with cyber-punk/industrial looks etc

Thomas Dolby used to have a really good look in the 80s but at some stage he pushed it too far and got into bad steampunk territory
