funny thing: when I was involved* with Junior Cotillions**, we used to play that Santana/M.Branch collab ALL THE TIME for the kids to foxtrot & cha-cha to -- but I feel like Taylor Swift coulda slotted into that rotation pretty easily

* first as a student, then (around age 13 or 14, I forget) as a 'student assistant' (entailed a lot of dancing with partner-less girls half my size, it was weird)

** Southern USA phenomenon -- think 'debutante ball'/coming-out party for young ladies, transformed by postmodern 90s consumer society into a 1x/month series of classes where children aged... 10-13ish??... would get dressed up in fancy clothes to learn basic social/business/dining etiquette, & partner-dancing
