Tom's Diner - original vs remix

I like the original how she pauses between verses even despite there being no accompaniment, and how naked it is, and the softness of her voice.

remix is also inspired, despite the shitty horns the remix uses. repurposing the ride out "duh duh duh duh" part as the hook was a smart choice, really gets into your consciousness.

like the dreamy synths a lot. so I think I go remix even if the original is more "interesting".

For what it's worth, and as much as I like it, I don't consider 'Tom's Diner' to be anywhere near one of the standout tracks of that album!
