i thought i might roll out one a week or so for an interminable period of time until people are no longer sure whether i haven't already polled this shit a couple of months ago already

Stopping occasionally for a chat with the crowd and a bit of banter, he oozed that same confidence and charisma which made him such an unforgettable frontman with Supergrass.

But the cheeky antics have been replaced with a more self-assured confidence resulting in songs that are carefully crafted and leave you not knowing what to expect next.

Among the new songs that stood out for me the most were Buffalo which was over far too quickly and left me wanting to hear more, and 20/20 with its powerful delivery. Adding a bit of Nineties nostalgia to the evening, Gaz also treated fans to a rendition of Moving and bringing a perfect end to the night was Caught By the Fuzz.

Has it left me hoping for a Supergrass reunion? Not in the slightest, because I’m looking forward to seeing what more unexpected musical surprises Gaz can deliver all by his lonesome.

For example, there is the cheerful, fast, keyboard-augmented "I'd Like To Know", the guitar-driven punk narrative "Caught by the Fuzz", the mainly piano-based rhythm of the teen anthem "Alright", and the country music-influenced acoustic guitar in "Time to Go". Even in the varied genre of Britpop, I Should Coco was seen as eclectic.
