"somebody" is amazing, fuiud &c; i think ppl look down on it for being minor-key/low-key/b-grade/whatever, but imho it nails a certain kind of freestyle ineffability/depersonalised grace.

"shine" is my favorite single from the years & years record (plus I think you can sing "boy problems" over the chord progression) but year-end list assembly has totally made me fall for "somebody" all over again
