I just finished reading The Day The Country Died last week, although that book really dropped the ball on this band (no interviews) their shadow loomed over it.
The book in the Statement box set has a very good and thorough history.
Favorite album: gotta be Hex
Favorite song: toss up between "Persons Unknown", "Idealogically Unsound", and "I'm Not A Real Woman"

rip for real. would love to read the written stuff in the statement box but have never found an affordable physical copy.

a total inspiration!
other favourite songs, "old tart's song", "underbitch", "take the toys from the boys".
poison girls are so underrated. i think a lot of people assume they were just an anarcho punk thrash but there's so much more to them than that.

First I'd heard of her or her band, but the two songs posted here ("Crisis," and "Persons Unknown") are fantastic. RIP.

I'm at a punk alldayer today with a load of crass-related bands playing - anthrax, rubella ballet, paranoid visions, Steve ignorant etc so everyone is dedicating their sets to Vi. Very much missed.
