tbh both of these songs could possibly be on my year-end top 10, it's a genuinely tough call. instant love vs. grudging enjoyment earned over several months.

i dunno. i mean it's goofy funky white boy top 40 but "Cake" feels more like the uncool old disco hits that "Get Lucky" was pointedly not paying homage to.
