Virtue is beautiful and for all of its wordiness I love the pathos of "Canopies and Drapes", her Christmas album has candy-coated Specteresque gems, but the singles from her third album aren't as accessible, which is why I haven't examined Second Love before now (and listening on Spotify I'm missing the acoustic guitar).

The songs from her new album worked better in concert, when I saw her at Easter time. But the album doesn't do much for me, unlike First Love and Virtue.
