1. I just figured out what Susanne Sundfør's "Accelerate" was reminding me of and it's "Otherside."

2. The first two lines of Billy Bragg's "A New England" are directly taken from Simon and Garfunkel's "Leaves that are Green"

3. Scandal's "The Warrior" features the lyric "your eyes touch me physically" which is absolutely disgusting when you picture it.

4. China Grove: when i was little I used to sing "Talkin bout tryna go whoaaa oh" and made it about going to the toilet

5. The Smiths' "Asleep" always used to make me think of Tori Amos.

6. The Smiths' "That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore" sounds like Gordon Lightfoot's "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"

7. EVERY time i hear "You're So Vain" on the radio all i can hear is Mick Jagger in the chorus. It's like Carly isn't even there.

8. I can't hear The Beatles "And Your Bird Can Sing" without thinking of popular 70's / 80's UK childrens TV show Rainbow.

9. A similar lot to 7, Echo and the Bunnymen 'Nothing lasts forever',Liam Gallagher's "la la la" during the pre-chorus

10. A friend introduced me to this apparently common mondegreen: "I swear I'm gonna bite you hard and taste your titty blood."

11. Just remembered the 'classic' I ruined for someone recently: "She seems to have an invisible tush-ay"
