Klint : S/D?

I recently picked up their s/t CD. They're sort of electro-folk along the lines of Beta Band. I would imagine that would make lots of peeps break out into hives, but I think it's one of the better records I've heard this year. I guess Klint's only claim to fame is having two tracks on the Snatch soundtrack. Anyone else heard them?

I picked it up in a sale on the basis of a: The fawning praise from magazines on the cover (not usually good, but it was from a range of differing publications, b: the Slint logo pastiche, and c: the burning desire to buy SOMETHING!

It's pretty nice in a, as you say, Beta Band style - but not quite in their league. I'm glad I only paid a fiver for it.

Wouldn't have bought it if I'd known the songs were featured in a Guy Ritchie movie!

Has it got a lot of press in the UK? It's completely off the radar screen in the US (I ordered it from amazon.co.uk). Sorry to let you know about the Guy Ritchie thing.
