i think the new Oranssi Pazuzu mostly lives up to the hype as well

Obviously that is one of the two elephants in the room I'm avoiding for now, but it really is outstanding

imago you might like that Khanus EP, as it is a pretty unique death metal [odd chords, female backing choir, Finnish folk-like rhythms]
