So what was the acronym short for?

Feel free to discuss the merits of their music. i did like them, but i was just a 12 year old desperate to find anything even slightly comparable to Amerikkka's Most Wanted (still am i s'pose).

memories of lazy (read: unimaginative) funk with lazier rhymes.

whilst we're here, portly MCs that are on-point? I can only think of Big Pun (who must have eaten several other thinner rappers to be that good) and the Chubbster.

thinner and severely untalented rappers, you mean. big pun sounded like he was choking on 5 pounds of pork fat and his lyrics were, face it, pretty weak.
